Cord to Cordless Sander Conversion From AC 100V to DC18V | RYOBI S-550

I found this electric sander from Japan recycles shop for only 15$. It is a 100v power tool. I want to convert it into an 18v cordless sander that has the same power as the original. I successfully did it and recorded it in this video. The difficult point in this project is armature rewinding and position the permanent magnet.

Electric Sander (old)
- Rated voltage ac 100V
- Rated current 1.8A
- Power 170W 50Hz/60Hz

Cordless Sander (new)
- DC 18V
- Current 2.5A
- Power 45W
- Makita battery 18v
