Salomon Quest 4D GTX Boots - A Simple Visual Comparison of V2 and V3

This is a simple visual comparison of the version 2 and version 3 Salomon Quest 4D GTX Hiking Boots. I got the new pair as a birthday present and thought that some of you out there might be interested in seeing the differences between the two types. The V2 boots have served me quite well over the years and do have a little life left in them but I think I'll be using them for yard work and such now. The v3 boots seem to be a little more robust with better mid and out soles, better grip, stiffer construction without sacrificing weight and overall better comfort with heavy pack weights. I'll try to do a more in depth review after I've had them for some time but I do think they will be an improvement over the old ones.
