Hello Psych2Goers, welcome to Beyond the Diagnosis: a new podcast that provides the space for people with lived experiences as a patient or caregiver to share their stories. Hosted by Monica Taing, a Medical Student in Canada.

This episode centres around a highly impactful neurological disease: Dementia. We feature a conversation with Ms. Claire Webster, a Certified Dementia Care Consultant and the founder and ambassador of the Dementia Education programme at McGill University. Ms. Webster is a former care partner for over a decade to her mother, who struggled with Alzheimer's Disease. In this episode, Ms. Webster joins our conversation to discuss some of the unseen challenges and propose some resources to support dementia care partners.

Beyond the Diagnosis is hosted by Monica Taing, an advocate for youth engagement and healthcare access from Montreal, Canada. She previously studied neuroscience at the University of Oxford, and is now studying medicine at McGill University.
