About this month's episode;
Precision dimensional gauging commonly uses a granite surface plate. More than just a big flat rock, the granite slab is a precision tool in itself, and, just like a gauge, it also needs to be calibrated—or at least characterized. In this episode of Gauging Quality, Craig Howell shows us how a surface plate is calibrated using a Mahr Federal Leveling System and a RAHN Repeat-O-Meter. Everything you want to know about big flat granite, LIVE, on Gauging Quality.
