Columbia Lions Women’s Basketball Win Its First Ever Ivy League Title
Last Saturday, the Columbia women’s basketball team became Ivy League champions for the first time in its program history! They did so by beating Cornell in a 69-64 overtime thriller. The Lions finished the regular season 23-4 and 12-2 in conference play, which gives them a share of the Ivy crown with Princeton.
The team now heads to the Ivy League tournament for a chance to punch their ticket to March Madness. Columbia’s first game will be a semi-final matchup against Harvard. The game will tip off Friday at 7 p.m. in Princeton, New Jersey. You can stream the game via ESPN+.
