Vappu, Labor day, 1st of May is one of the favourite celebrations in Finland. People usually eat munkki (doughnuts), drink sima (sort of lemonade) and party hard. It started as a labor day and evolved into spring carnival especially celebrated by students.
Now , during coronavirus, all the public events are canceled. So we do our best to celebrate it at home.
