Amphibia season 2 went into hiatus mode at an intriguing cliffhanger - King Andrias approaching an emotionally shaken Marcy in Newtopia, after Anne departs to Return to Wartwood with Hop Pop, Sprig and Polly for the Calamity Box. Although we know Marcy and Anne will see a reunion in order to travel to the temples needed to recharge the stones of the Calamity Box, will Marcy be influenced to steal the box in order to stay in Amphibia forever? What is Andrias' plan? How do characters such as Sasha, Grime and the death of Sprig's Mom factor into everything? Will season 2 end on an intense cliffhanger of its own?
