When Hokutofuji fights, he only knows one gear, its to go ALL IN, all the time. He is the perfect embodiment of ALL OUT SUMO, which I think all sumo fans really love. Hokutofuji is known for his powerful pushing techniques and hard-charging tachi-ai. Everytime he steps in the dohyo, he gives it all especially when he is facing the best of the best. Through out his career he racked up a lot of W's against Ozekis and also earning 7 kinboshis or goldstars for defeating four Yokozunas.
