City of Sydney Council Labor Councillor Linda Scott says Australia is a “very unusual” economic time.
Ms Scott told Sky News host Paul Murray that there is “very high inflation”.
“There are huge cost pressures.
“There are increases in wages, that’s a very welcome thing.
“The cost of building things, maintaining infrastructure, running our services, just costs a whole lot more.”
