The guests started the match very boldly in Sosnovy Bor, unsuccessfully imposing their game on Dynamo. In the debut, Alexander Klimkin's team played volleyball through its captain Denis Biryukov (4:3). On the serves of Tyushkevich and Artyom Dovgan, Dynamo earned an excellent advantage already in the first part of the second set (8:4), where the break finishes were equally and equally well implemented by the extreme forwards of the hosts. All that remained was to methodically move forward and not allow the opponent to get close in the score, which, in fact, was successful. At the end of the game, Dmitry Kolenkovsky gave out solo numbers in attack and on serve, who gathered a personal ovation from the stands.
The guests were in the lead for most of the third set. But in long draws, luck smiled more often at the hosts, who valued the ball more. The incredible ball on Denis Schenkel's serve, thanks to the defensive actions of the entire team, was won by Schenkel himself, who risked attacking with a second touch (after this episode, he could well afford a glass of champagne for the risk) (20:20).
The teams all collapsed into an equal ending – by this point, Fannur Kayumov had already come out diagonally. This guy has to get used to mastering new positions in recent matches, but as a team player, he benefits at any level. For some time, the teams exchanged mistakes in various elements, and Dynamo-LO's winning ball again brought a successful block – the collective creativity of Kolenkovsky, Biryukov and Mikhail Fedorov, who replaced Tyushkevich with the last ball, fixed a "cover" for Radchenko and the final score, 27:25 and 3:0.
