Putting Judaism into Practice: Rabbi Emanuel Rackman in conversation with Arthur Hertzberg

Modern Orthodox Rabbi Emanuel Rackman, in conversation with moderator Arthur Hertzberg, responds to the prompt “putting Judaism into practice - can it be done?” Rackman argues that Judaism is inherently viable–that in order for the law to be livable, people must be able to live by the law. He emphasizes however, that just because the law is viable does not mean that it should be easy. Hertzberg provides a conservative perspective.
