Searching for Harmonia: The Lost Mystery Village - Battle Creek, Michigan

Join me as I go searching for Harmonia, the lost mystery village that once existed 6 miles west of Battle Creek, Michigan between 1850-1917. The village of Harmonia has a ghostly folklore surrounding its history of spiritualism from its founders the Cornell family. Following a belief system where they held seances to talk to the dead at the Harmonia institute, the story is an quite interesting one to explore.

Soujourner Truth lived in the village for a period of about 10 years, and her daughter lived there with her family for over 30 years. What is the story of this lost village whose only evidence of its prior existance in modern day is a name on a road heading West from Rothschild Park, and a forgotten cemetery on a hill? More importantly, where is Harmonia today?
