Running Motor HDD without ESC

Hard drive motor is brushless motor. It works with high frequency 3 phase voltage from ESC. However in this video, I tried to run it without ESC. by adding a capacitor. The capacitor creates a 90-degree deflection angle. The motor will run, however at a much lower speed than the ESC.

All my projects are free, I design them on EAGLE 6.0. I uploaded it to Google drive. You need to use a web browser to download the file and open the file with winrar software (extract) on the PC. Open schematic file (.SCH) and PCB file (.BRD) with EAGLE software.
