Bethany Village blue house removal

Until February 2016, Bethany Village was home to the largest Linden tree in Ohio. The tree was badly diseased and experts agreed it could not be saved. The Bethany Linden tree was removed on February 18 as a starting point of the new parking lot project. The Linden tree stood watch over a small home, most recently used by Wright State University as a living lab for nursing students. The home is a replica of one of the four original farmhouses on the land that would become Bethany Village. Over years the home housed residents and later administrative offices.
