These are my absolute favourite types of aquarium. A no filter mini ecosystem. Hard to get right, but when you do...they look after themselves. This time, I'm adding ferts and liquid co2 from NTLABS.

The reason being is that i've never used these products in this way so thought it would be a good experiment to see home much they effect the growth rate of the plants.

As you can see, I have no trouble growing plants without ferts and liquid co2...but it is painfully slow. Hopefully these can speed it up. Faster growing plants usually means better water quality too.
