Endowment for the Performing Arts with Merle Dandridge

Gala 2014 put the spotlight on performing arts in the Papillion-La Vista School District. Broadway star, Hall of Fame member, and Papillion-La Vista alum Merle Dandridge performed along with students from Papillion-La Vista and Papillion-La Vista South high schools and alumni of the school district. Thanks to the support of parents, alumni, community members, and businesses, the Papillion-La Vista Schools Foundation was able to announce that over $100,000 has been pledged the first Endowed Center of Excellence, the Papillion-La Vista Schools Endowment for the Performing Arts. The Endowment for the Performing Arts will ensure that students will continue to have extraordinary opportunities in theater, vocal music, and instrumental music long into the future. Merle Dandridge and friends shared their congratulations on the Endowment for the Performing Arts.
