How I Almost Died in the Philippines! Real Talk! Storytime! Dengue fever, healthcare in the Philippines!

Good day, everyone! We hope you are all doing well! We are still under GCQ and stuck here in my wife’s family’s farm. Summer season is about to end as we experience more rains here in the Philippines. The dry landscape is slowly replaced with greener and more vibrant plants. Everyday we look forward to discovering new plants and beautiful tropical flowers here. There is another thing that becomes rampant when rainy season starts here in the Philippines and those are mosquitoes. Unfortunately, these mosquitoes are possible carriers of the deadly dengue virus. In this video, I wanna share with you guys my experience of getting sick and hospitalized for more than a week here in the Philippines a couple of years ago due to dengue fever. At that time, I thought I was gonna die. It was an ordeal I wish for no one. We hope sharing my experience can spread awareness about dengue fever in order to prevent it from happening to you or your loved ones. But despite this horrible experience, I had a beautiful realization that was life changing for me which I am also sharing in this video. We hope this inspires you as well.
