I was trying so hard to get 10k followers on Instagram so I can unlock the swipe up feature which allow you to redirect people to another link embedded in the picture/Video shared to your Instagram status.
After several warning, and restrictions from instagram telling me to change my password due to the high rate of following on my account, my account got disabled.
To verify i'm not a robot, Instagram compelled me to go through the 'Video selfie verification' which I did more than 20x which I'm sure y'all going through the same thing.

Here's what I did to fix this;

1. Delete theirs party app for following or unfollow if you have one.
2. Go to Facebook, under settings, go to 'face recognition'; switch the option to 'Yes'.
3. Stop following, unfollowing, Liking, and commenting too often.

OPTION 2:

Login via Safari browser, once you login, a message will appear to return to the app to verify your identity, at the top corner, there's an option to open the Instagram app.
Click to open and try the face verification again.

This should work for you.
