The Scotland Diaries is a video series intended to uncover the spirit of golf through playing courses you have never heard of. Episode 1 highlights Shiskine Golf Club, a 12 hole track nestled in the coast of the Isle of Arran. Known as "Scotland in miniature," the Isle of Arran is home to more golf clubs per capita than anywhere else in the world. Erik Anders Lang and Golf Channel correspondent, Alexandra O'Laughlin, begin their journey on a ferry in the Atlantic Ocean. When they arrive to Shiskine Golf Club, they are greeted by retired livestock farmer, Willie. Having been local to the Isle of Arran for his entire life, Willie has played golf at Shiskine for an impressive 68 years. Over the course of their round, Willie provides Erik and Alexandra with golf advice that translate to valuable life lessons.
