Olympus 300mm F4.0 Pro - But is it sharp? Real world examples

After this lens got some attention when Tony Northrup compared it to a Nikon 600mm lens, I decided to make a quick review with some real world examples of how the lens does for bird photography. All images were taken with the Panasonic G9 body and the Olympus 300mm F/4 and usually the 1.4x Olympus teleconverter.

There are a couple mistakes - I said the 100-400 is f/4 - f/5.6, it's actually f/6.3 at the long end. I also said 100 ISO once when I meant 1000 (the G9 doesn't even have 100 ISO :)).
