"March of the People's Volunteer Army!", is a Chinese Patriotic Song celebrating the forces of the People's Volunteer Army who joined the Korean People's Army in fighting the United States and U.N. troops. In order to avoid a direct military confrontation between the United States and the People's Republic of China, the People's Volunteer Army was formed under Commander Peng Dehuai, crossing the Yalu River in late 1950.
