Welcome to all India engineering automation. Today our topic is pid controller we explore pid. What is pid ,how its working,some people know only defination of pid they rote everything that's why people don't explain it to interview or exam's so don't worry about it we describe pid with application.so friends if you watch this video you r so lucky because with Practically no one easily describe pid so we include so much parameter in this video to learn easy let's start with basic you see definition theories of pid now you saw types of pid that is use in industries
So today we use for practical only pid .now you saw on off control pid that is simply temperature controller only its have out put relay only. Second one is proportional controller that is provided set point option for desire temperature it control output as per its input value. Now last one that we use is pid that is closed loop control system now you see diagram of pid its simply describe as other diagram. first we have know this three things 1st one its set value second is Preset value and third is feedback (percentage of Open) from motor or valve that is the main character in pid set value put value that you want and preset value is value of running temperature (used thermocouple or other transmitter). its function is control valve by out put
Relay that is working of pid . Now you see industrial pid west model no 8170 this pid same function like our example we can change set value (green) and preset valu (red) show by thermocouple now we see thermocouple that is use for preset value.now we remove k type thermocouple it was not so hot now we remove s type thermocouple its too hot and ita temp is approximate 1000 degree centigrade now we put inside so in industries that is working like this now you see pid its model no is 8170 now we change its set value than it work automatic when set value Greater than its preset valu its output forward relay is on and ac drive run forward until its preset value is not equal to its set value when I changed its set value lower than preset value than pid run its reverse relay for ac drive move reverse its reverse until its preset valu is not equal to its set value ind pid the red indicated arrow down side that is revers sign and arrow up side that is sign for forward that is simply understand in industries how pid work now we used other model that is 8100 that is used for mili ampere or 0 to 20 v dc out put now if we change its set value Greater than its preset value than ac drive frequency goes to increase until its preset value is not equal to set value and if we change its set value lower than preset value ac drive frequency goes down until its preset value is not equal to its set valu that is second application of pid we
