VW Sharan Engine auxiliary heater not working. Where to start?

Welcome. Today I got a Volkswagen Sharan 1.9 tdi 115 km. Brother of Seat Alhambra and Ford Galaxy.
These cars are equipped with engine auxiliary heaters, which are quite emergency after a long time. Today I will show you where the thermostat (switch) that our eberspacher activates is located. The problem begins when the thermostat is functional and the stove still does not work after the temperature drops. Usually these are bent wires and there is no proper voltage on the pin. The fuel pump or, in the worst case, the controller may also be damaged.
You also need to check the glow plug that is responsible for starting the stove. When one of the components fails for a long time, the controller may lock up and it will have to be connected to a special program. Hope the video helped you solve the problem at least a little.
