10 Ways to MIX & Use BROWN in Your Watercolor Paintings (Explained)

In this video, professional artist Paul Hopkinson shares how he mixes 10 browns and uses each in a watercolor painting.

Brown is a colour that is used in so many paintings, you can have yellow-browns, red-browns, grey-browns, orange-browns and many more besides. This video shares a few colour combinations but in reality we are just scratching the surface of the complexities of using brown! I demonstrate mixing brown from 2, 3 or even 4 colours. In addition, I talk about how varying the % of each colour, altering the consistency or indeed the number of layers you apply has an effect on the brown you end up with!
