Spacecraft thermal system

In space a spacecraft must be able to withstand sudden and extreme temperatures. Failure to do so can result in loss of data, life or the entire spacecraft. In this episode of Celestial Sphere we look at issues caused by the thermal environment of space and the various methods that's used to keep spacecraft within their operating temperature range.
