Nicholas Hoult and Elle Fanning Couldn't Stop Giggling Together on Set for 'The Great'

Elle Fanning and Nicholas Hoult say some of their lines were so funny while shooting their new show "The Great," they struggled mightily to keep a straight face.

"It was kind of easy to get me to go. Little things," Fanning said. "I'd just look at Nick and you'd just see ... like, we're holding on for dear life. It's like 'Ugh!'"

Hoult said it was difficult "particularly once you've pinpointed what it is that makes you chuckle or what line is within the scene."

"The Great" is a comical take on Catherine the Great's coup against her husband and eventual role as empress of Russia. The 10-episode series out now on Hulu.
