This patient had multiple blackheads, whiteheads, and a few small follicular cysts. I use different techniques to get under and behind these clogged pores. The crease behind the ear is a difficult location but the cotton tipped applicators (Q-tips) did the job. Many circumstances can lead to thickened skin that can make you more prone to getting clogged pores. Examples are sun damage, smoking, chemical exposures, etc. The patient was happy to get these pores cleared and I thank him for sharing his procedure. Acne extractions. Cyst pops.
