Autel EVO II Enterprise Drone at Commercial UAV Expo 2021

In this episode, the Roswell Flight Test Crew hears from Jon McBride, the director of training for Autel Robotics about the company’s latest entry in the drone market: the EVO II Enterprise. The new drone features interchangeable visible light and thermal imaging payloads, ADS-B surveillance for manned aircraft operating in the vicinity, as well as a selection of accessories. These include a loudspeaker, a spotlight, a high-visibility beacon and an RTK GPS module for precise surveying and mapping. When the RTK unit is attached, the location data it generates is embedded in the metadata of the images the aircraft is capturing, to enhance the accuracy of orthomosiac images captured by the drone. The Autel EVO II Enterprise also comes with the company’s smart controller, featuring a large, high-visibility touchscreen.
