Each of our automotive base coats are low-VOC formulations that meet regulatory limits in highly-regulated areas, so there's no need to switch to a waterborne base coat. In VOC-restricted areas, these urethane base coat paints work with our Low-VOC paint primers and clears. Before you spray, you'll need to mix the base coat 4:1 with the Low-VOC Activator included (your choice of fast, medium or slow).
