EV100 DVR problem

I waited 5 weeks for the module to arrive.
I did read the instructions fully before applying power.
What a disappointment to see this scrambled view, it only does this in record mode, even when not recording.
However, I made a video using the same kwad with my VR D2s, then put the SD card back into the EV100 DVR and it played back perfectly. I thought the issue was either with the plug not making proper contact in the AV socket, but this looks like a DVR fault, you can see the recording symbol overlay moving across the screen.
In playback mode or menu screen, the image is perfect, so the problem isn't with the AV cable or socket.
The EV100 goggles themselves are great, but I've been waiting for the DVR so I can post some footage of me flying with them.
Looks like I'll have to go back to the VR D2s for now!
