2001: A SPACE ODYSSEY - 50th Anniversary Tribute

50 years ago on this day, one of the greatest cinematic achievement of all-time was released in theaters nationwide. On April 3rd, 1968, the science-fiction masterpiece "2001: A Space Odyssey" from the legendary director Stanley Kubrick debuted in the states to polarizing reviews. Now, in 2018, it is widely considered to be one of the most influential films ever made and it is personally my top pick for best film of all-time, tied with "Seven Samurai Movie". This is a film unlike any other. A film that, even after 5 decades, still looks incredible. "2001: A Space Odyssey" is the quintessential sci-fi film and is, arguably, the most meticulously crafted, complex, imaginative and important film in cinema history. Happy 50th anniversary to "2001: A Space Odyssey". Thank you for inspiring me and so many others.
