In this Malayalam presentation on "Contradictions in dialectical materialism" at a function held in Thrissur on July 24, 2016 to commemorate late rationalist A.V. Jose, Mohamed Nazeer shows how dialectical materialism serves as Marxist ideology's own metaphysical and epistemological dogma presented as scientific truth. But history has rendered irrelevant the Marxian metaphysics and epistemology. The presentation explains that as per the concept of dialectics everything is in constant motion in compliance with the eternal and universal laws of dialectics. Even as Marxism claims that dialectics is a general law governing everything and hence scientific, it refutes formal logic by allowing contradiction in everything. The presentation asks how a system of thought that refutes the principle of non-contradiction can claim to be scientific, which does not allow contradiction.
