ASOS presents "Making It" | Francesca Allen (Episode 3 of 3)

As part of our Making It series in collaboration with ASOS, we met up with 23-year-old Francesca Jane Allen who is fast becoming one of the most exciting and revered young photographers in London. Inspired by an artistic mother, Francesca began taking photos as her creative outlet and began casting her lens on the strong, talented and beautiful women in her life, producing photographs that exude colour, joy, and the unshakable female spirit of her subjects. Her unique perspective has already seen her profile Stormzy for ASOS Magazine as well a 10-spread in the Spring 2016 issue of i-D. We made ourselves comfortable at Francesca's Seven Sisters studio to talk about embarking on a career in photography, how she handles the setbacks and the magic behind her work.
