A three-storey building collapsed in a slum in Mumbai after the area was hit by a heavy monsoon on June 9, 2021. At least 12 people were killed, and around seven others were injured during the storm that brought 222mm (9 inches) of rain in 12 hours. Rescue operations continue with more people missing.
