Happy December! :D
Sorry for the wait. Ahhh it's been more than a month since I've uploaded a new video, but I have my reasons! Not only did I have to worry about midterms and finals, but I also had to arrange my hardest and -- in my opinion-- most creative arrangement yet. Here it is, my cover of Kimi no Shiranai Monogatari!

For this arrangement, I wanted to be as unpredictable as possible. I really didn't want my listeners to come into this song already knowing what it'll sound like. With that goal set as my highest priority, I dove into practice spending hours a day trying to find every single approach I could find for each section of the song (i.e., chorus, verse, bridge, etc.). I really tried to create passages that would make people think, "how did he do that?! That's new!"
This was the quality content I wanted to see myself create, and boy did it CONSUME the past few weeks of my life. But, of course, I don't regret a single ounce of it. I've learned many things I probably would never have if it wasn't for the time I spent on this lengthy song, both animation- and music-wise.

I told myself I would upload this cover only after reaching 50,000 subscribers, but I figured I'll just release it now and start working on my next piece for Christmas. I'll let the video do the rest of the talking. Please, enjoy this cover!

EDIT: this should be at the very beginning... Ahh I don't know how I forgot. I would like to thank Animenz for inspiring me with his version of Kimi no Shiranai Monogatari. As you can see, my second pre-chorus and chorus were influenced by him heavily. To have even a glimpse of Animenz's material recreated into my fingerstyle arrangements really shows how influencial and important he is to me as a musician. Thank you, Animenz!
