Leading with Kindness | McKenna Daly | TEDxCherryCreek

The traditional "leadership" styles that we see in the media and have seen throughout history are changing. In her talk, McKenna discusses how society should begin to move away from the hierarchical idea of the leader being on top and start recognizing that true leadership requires teamwork and collaboration. Through the idea of "Linear Leadership," the concept of superiority starts to be broken down as it's made clear that truly anybody can be a leader. McKenna is in her third year at Colorado State University, heading towards her Bachelors of Science in Human Development & Family Studies. She is passionate about kinder practices and fostering a positive leadership environment, and strives to implement these ideas in her everyday life.
