JUNTEK VAT 1300 Installation Confusion in my Mercedes Benz 608D Fire Engine Camper Van.

The Juntek unit arrived and I did some bench tests, seemed to work ok with a single charge source and single load, what happens when I install into a system that has three charge sources and multiple load, it gets confused and so do I.

Basic outcome is that the unit measures current one way, either in or out, it is able to display current for both Charge (CHG) and Discharge (DIS) but does at the moment seem only able to offer accumulated data for one direction, the other direction is simply an interpretation of the display.

Limited little battery monitor for your motorhome, RV or wohnmobil but an interesting unit and you can learn a lot about the limitations of your chosen installation.
