7.21.21 National Cathedral Morning Prayer

Today in the church, we celebrate the life of martyr, nun, poet and member of the French resistance in WWII, Maria Skobtsova. Although she once considered herself an atheist, her faith eventually led her to the church. Her work housing and caring for Jewish and French refugees was discovered by the Gestapo and she was sent to a concentration camp.

May her life be an inspiration to us all.

Provost Jan Naylor Cope leads this service of Morning Prayer and Reflection. Thank you for beginning your day with us.

*Please note that these services are filmed in advance.*
