Vespa PX Wheel Change

In this video we show you how to change the rear wheel on a Vespa PX by leaning it against a wall.

This technique requires the scooter to have a stand in good condition, undamaged steering stops and a standard exhaust. Should you have an aftermarket sports exhaust this will need to be removed before changing the wheel.

To save scuffs and scratches to the engine gear selector, you should place some padding underneath to protect it. In this case we used some plastic shopping bags.

If the scooter is difficult to push off the road to a safe area, keep the engine running and use the clutch and fist gear to maneuverer.

It is also a good idea to put the steering lock on before leaning the scooter over.

When removing the spare wheel be sure not to touch the positive terminal on the battery.
