This talk was given at a local TEDx event, produced independently of the TED Conferences. Described by iconic Filipino rapper Francis Magalona as "a blacksmith of words and letters, and a true Filipino poet" for his songs which confront contemporary issues such as social injustice, and call for patriotism, Gloc-9 graced TEDxDiliman with a song and a testimony for Original Pilipino Music (OPM).
Aristotle Pollisco (born 18 October 1977), known by his stage name Gloc-9, is an Awit Award winning Filipino rapper. His fast-flowing vocal style has made him one of the most successful hip-hop artists in the Philippines.
