How We Wash Eggs
Eggs sold to farm visitors can be sold unwashed, just like nature intended. But when we sell eggs off the farm, the State of Ohio requires that the eggs be washed, refrigerated, and properly labeled, and that egg sellers be certified by the Ohio Department of Agriculture. Get an inside look at our process to see what happens before eggs can leave the farm. We have multiple commercial customers, including a bakery, a restaurant, and a food truck, so we wash eggs several times each week.
