Picos de Europa Spain and Serra da Estrela Portugal Motorcycle tour Day 3

Day 3 of the Poynton Motorcycle Club tour from North West England UK to Picos de Europa, Spain and Serra da Estrela, Portugal in September 2019.

Day 3 was the infamous Picos triangle, which started from Hotel Infantado in Ojedo, heading down along the N-621 in a clockwise direction towards Riano.
Our first stop was at Mirador de El Corzo, with the bronze deer overlooking the Picos, after which we continued along the N-621 and on to the white bear Monumento al Oso Pardo.
A short while later we stopped for some cold drinks in the small town of Llanaves de la Reina.
After our refreshments we continued along the N-621, past Riano, and turned onto the N-625 heading in the direction of Cangas de Onis. A few moments after joining the N-625 we stopped alongside Riano reservoir and took some photographs of the mountains in the distance with Riano reservoir in the foreground.
For lunch we stopped in at Restaurante Puente Dobra, which was on the bank of the river Dobra.
After lunch we followed the N-625 until the AS-114 and headed in the direction of Arena de Cabrales.
We followed the AS-114 for some time (look out for the town called Poo de Cabrales, in the municipality of Poo!) until Panes, where we turned onto the A621 and headed back towards Hotel Infantado in Ojedo.
