Precision 22 LR Tactical Match - Know Your Limits (22 Marksman Challenge)

Clips from the infamous "Know Your Limits" stage of the July 2014 22 LR Marksman Challenge. This time the KYL was set at 30 yards with 8 swinging steel targets. The first target being 2" in diameter on down to 1/4" which is the same size are the 22 cal bullet we're shooting.

These matches are held on the 3rd Saturday of every month, year round at the Hobble Creek Range in Springville, Utah.

Anyone is welcome to shoot. Minors must present their hunter's safety card to participate. Targets range from 25 to 200 yards both paper and steel. We also shoot playing cards, match sticks and toothpicks. One thing is guaranteed, you'll have a ton of fun and enjoy the company of some great people.

Hot dogs and drinks are for sale by the daughters of the match coordinator. Prizes and a raffle are done at each match. Medals are given for the top three shooters and the top shooters for the entire year series have a shot at some awesome prizes like Vortex Optics.

Mostly shooting prone from a bipod but with some barricade and positional shooting, these matches are an excellent and less expensive way to hone your skills for tactical competitions with larger calibers at long range.
