Tristan Thompson, center/forward for the Chicago Bulls, and the Epilepsy Foundation have announced a partnership to raise awareness for “Purple Day®” and raise funds for those affected with epilepsy. Founded in 2008 by then 9-year-old Cassidy Megan of Canada, Purple Day is observed annually on March 26 to help educate people worldwide about epilepsy.

In honor of this epilepsy awareness day, Tristan Thompson will donate the sneakers and jersey he will wear during his March 26 NBA matchup against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Thompson will autograph his game-worn Chicago Bulls jersey and sneakers before they are offered to one lucky winner at www.epilepsy.com/slamdunk - with the money raised going to support the Epilepsy Foundation and the 3.4 million people in the U.S. living with epilepsy.
