How to draw Adam Driver's face - PORTRAIT tutorial

We have done some recent videos on drawing faces and getting a likeness, so we wanted to challenge ourselves to draw a well known and distinctive face. We chose the excellent actor Adam Driver.

We both learned a lot from this exercise. There were challenges and struggles, and not everything went perfectly. We tried to be as open and honest as we could about our mindsets, techniques and mistakes during the process.

Achieving a likeness is a very delicate thing where each line can have a lot of impact. While drawing for a likeness, you are very connected to every line, which is a good exercise even if you aren't interested in portraits.
