Introducing the "MIXIE" A DIY Steampunk, Backlit Digital Clock - Part 1

I love clocks. Especially quirky and interesting clocks. This MIXIE clock is inspired by the iconic Nixie clock but it has a sort of industrial/steampunk/art deco feel about it. The timekeeping is via an ESP8266 WiFi microcontroller and programmable LED 7 segment displays. However in this video I make the wooden case for the clock from some New Guinea Rosewood. There's some wood lathe and CNC milling action in store for you. Enjoy!
