There's a very good reason why so many people advise you to get a mentor. Because of the unfair advantage YOU get when you have one. Think about it...imagine you're a budding entrepreneur - or even a somewhat experienced business owner. You somehow get a 10 year, successful business owner in your industry to give you concrete advice that you can use for your business. That's 10 years of mistakes, fires they needed to put out, and insights that is potentially available for you to learn from and avoid.
