High Volume Wooden Sea Kayak

This is our second build, completely redesigned from the ground up to allow tall & very tall paddlers to enjoy a relatively narrow kayak (53.6cm). The design came from many many years of paddling British style boats on the rough sea of Crete (the biggest wave in Meditterenean has been measured in Crete, ~5.5 meters).
The modifications on the deck allow paddlers even up to 2.05m to fit into it. The minimum height is around 1.80 m.

All that at only 19.6kg with a reinforcement of glass clothing everywhere; a rock solid wooden kayak.

The hull is based on the Vember expedition with a few minor changes to give more space for tall paddlers. The kayak is British-style with a round bilge hull to give smooth and progressive stability from upright to edged; a kayak that would be capable and reassuring in rough seas and strong winds.
