What makes a great leader? In his talk, Michael Oddo reexamines modern leadership and discusses profiles in courage and compassion.

Michael Oddo is a senior at John F. Kennedy Catholic High School in Somers, NY, USA. Michael Oddo is a senior at John F. Kennedy Catholic High School in Somers, New York. Michael is the Editor-in-Chief of his school’s newspaper, the President of his school’s band ensemble, and the Founder and President of his school’s chapter of the Junior State of America. Michael is also a member of the Kennedy Catholic High School Varsity Lacrosse team and Varsity Cross Country team. Michael, who has conducted research at Duke University and studied Constitutional Law at Harvard University, is a Yale Book Award recipient and a Second Round Finalist for the Profile in Courage Award. Michael has also interned at the Office of the New York State Attorney General in the Executive Division and is hoping to follow a career of public service. In his free time, you will find Michael on a scenic run, playing golf, or reading short stories.
