NEVER GO FULL ENDURO!!! NEW BIKE DAY, FIRST RACE OF THE YEAR!!!

Never go full enduro...... oh we just did!

So Scott very kindly surprised me with this new Scott Ransom 170mm enduro bike painted in the same colour as my Land rover defender. So I thought the best place to test out this new colour would be for the Trans Madeira stage race this week. I have never done an enduro race so thought why not start at the deep end with debatably one of the toughest mountain bike races out there.

Covering over 204km, 5k metres off climbing, 15k metres of decent over 5 days of riding its going to be savage. Ransom was the best option for me, visited the bike shop as I always do and cause chaos in there (but they love it). So big shoutout to MB Cyclery in Haslemere for once again nailing it with the building and putting in 120% effort for me on an early week day morning.

We only managed a short ride after building this dream bike, but was enough to check a few things before packing in a box ready for the first race of the year. I mean its the same as my last Ramson but this one has been truly enduroed up to the max.

I truly hiss this is the ultimate all round bike. If I could only have one bike this would be the one.
